
Suguna Mukthyala, PhD, LPC
Suguna has worked in a variety of settings throughout the course of her career. She helped young adults navigate important life transitions while providing counseling in the university setting, provided home-based psychotherapy to children and their families, and enthusiastically advocated in schools for children with mental health diagnoses. In addition, she taught graduate level courses as adjunct faculty and supervised beginning counselors at Duquesne University. She maintained a private practice while living in Bowling Green, Kentucky prior to relocating to Nashville.
Suguna is skilled at working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and wellness, grief, and psycho-somatic disorders. In her work, she is skillful at weaving integrative and evidence-based approaches in helping her clients find balance and reduce suffering in their lives.
When she isn't working, Suguna enjoys playing with her cat, hiking, cooking for friends, and learning more about yoga, meditation, and psychology and also doing nothing!
